IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

Due to the rapidly changing situation regarding coronavirus and to best protect the health and safety of all of our students, the College suspended all face-to-face classes on Monday 16 March.

UPDATE (1 APRIL 2020) - In light of ongoing lockdown measures, and the evolving situation of COVID-19, our campuses will not be reopening on Monday 20 April and will remain closed for the foreseeable future. We will continue to monitor the situation as well as take guidance from the government and will update you as soon as we are able to.

Please remember, our campuses may be closed but our dedicated staff are working from home and are here to help you with your studies during this time.

EASTER HOLIDAYS

Along with students, our teaching staff will be on holiday from Monday 6 - Friday 17 April. Our support staff are still here to support you during the Easter Holidays whether you need help with funding, applications or just someone to talk to. See their contact details below.

The whole College will be taking a break over the Easter Weekend from Friday 10 - Monday 13 April and will be closed.

Online teaching will resume on Monday 20 April.

Your health and safety is our highest priority, please read new rules introduced by the Government on staying at home and away from others.

Additional provision has been put into place to enable you to continue to study at home during this time.

We understand that you will be concerned about the impact that this may have on your studies and progression. We'd like to emphasise that this situation is national and reassure you that we are speaking with external agencies to limit the longer-term impact on everybody.

EXAMS UPDATE

The Scottish Government has announced that this year’s SQA exams won’t take place. We don’t know yet how results will be decided, but please do not worry. The College is in constant contact with the Scottish Government and our examining bodies and we will keep in touch with you when anything develops. Please speak to your lecturer if you are worried.

Please read the latest update from the SQA, as well as this Guidance for learners, parents and carers.
