If you don't already live close enough to the College to travel from home, you'll need to think about where you'll live while you study.
For most students, there are three main choices:
· Halls of residence
· Lodgings
· Rented accommodation
Halls of residence
Our brand new, purpose-built student residential complex is just two minutes' walk from the College.
The complex has 110 five-bedroom apartments, each with a fully fitted kitchenette and living area. Other features include:
- Own en suite bathroom
- Internet access
- Common room with TV, vending machines and pool table
- Laundry room
- Secure cycle store
- Secure door entry system
- 24-hour CCTV
- Social evenings
- Gas, electricity, water and internet access included
- £133 per week for 2011/2012

Lodgings
If you prefer the surroundings of a home from home experience, we have a list of registered landlords who offer a room in their homes for students. Many of these are families, and often they take several students. You can choose self-catering, bed and breakfast or half-board.

Rented accommodation
A lot of students like to find their own accommodation, usually sharing with others. With so many students in Edinburgh, there are plenty of house share and flat share places around. But we suggest you start looking as soon as you can.
With availability changing all the time, we don't keep a list of rented accommodation. But we're happy to offer help on how and where to look. Contact us for more information
