If you are interested in a job in the media and creative industries, this one year course gives you the chance to take the first step into the world of professional broadcasting.
You will explore how TV and Radio programmes are put together, the production processes and the creative decisions. Working in teams, you will tackle a range of practical projects that will enable you to build a basic production portfolio. There is also an analytical component which will give you an overview of how the media industries work and the kind of jobs that are available in those industries.
You can start planning for your future confident that you have a foundation for further study in your chosen field. Areas of study include radio, advertising, television, video production, editing, digital photography and production management.
