The HND Visual Communication in Graphic Design is an award-winning, studio-driven course with an exciting blend of employer engagement, industry collaboration and contemporary design projects. The course has a strong reputation for producing industry-ready graduates who can think and execute design solutions across the range of print and digital formats.
We have an Education Network Membership with D&AD, and our students regularly enter and win national and international design awards (D&AD , YCN, DMA, Roses), competing directly with final year degree-level students at some of the world`s leading Universities and Art Schools.
To support this, we run the sector-leading Mentoring Programme and Partnership Initiative, where the students get to work closely with a select group of industry professionals at leading agencies. Final Year students also undertake a work placement at many of Scotland’s most successful design companies.
This project-led course will teach you the elements of visual design for both web and print. You will work on creative briefs to ensure you have practical experience of the design process.
