Description
This course has been designed to allow you to develop a high level of skills and practical experience from a range of production and technical theatre disciplines, including sound, lighting and stage management. Students receive excellent work experience on a minimum of ten student productions throughout the year.
Duration
Full-time course (over 1 year), starting in August.
Further Study
Progression to degree education offered by QMUC, RSAMD, LIPA and Guilford.
Many students on this course receive seasonal work in local theatres and during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Entry Requirements
Either two Higher Grades, or equivalent SQA qualifications, or a relevant National Certificate, such as dramatic arts or technical theatre. Mature applicants with appropriate experience will be considered on their merits. Final selection is by interview. Any examples of previous work and/or a portfolio can be presented at this time.
