Helping people come to College
Edinburgh’s Telford College is the local college for the communities of North Edinburgh and Leith.

We work hard to make sure our local community finds us welcoming and easy to access – and we extend a welcome to everyone from the wider Edinburgh area.

Studying at Edinburgh’s Telford College can be of great benefit to people from our local community. This year almost 40% of our students are from North Edinburgh and classes are often made up of people from a variety of backgrounds. Edinburgh’s Telford College is a great place to meet people from the community, the whole of Edinburgh and further afield.

Worried about coming to college?

The size of the college and range of courses can seem a bit daunting. That’s why we offer a welcoming information and advice service – it’s designed to help you make the right decisions at every stage.

As well as course choice and methods of study, we can advise you on qualifications, accommodation, applications, childcare and funding. A full list of support available can be found here.
