Our bright, state-of-the-art campus by the sea has won praise from staff, students and the local community. Completed in 2006, it’s modern and practical, accessible for people with disabilities and it’s also packed with facilities.
Study, sport and leisure
Out ‘Learning Street’ corridors provide touchdown desks and computers, giving you plenty of space to get down to work.

Construction Centre for Excellence
Our Construction Centre for Excellence at the Forthside building on West Shore Road has training facilities for up to 700 apprentices and 200 adult learners.
We offer a wide range of modern and traditional construction courses – from glazing, carpentry and stone masonry to conservation and heritage construction skills. With support from Historic Scotland, the Centre will be continuously updated and improved until it’s complete in 2015.
All these facilities are supported by fully qualified staff and strong links with the community, industry and higher education institutions.
Getting to the college
While we do have a car park, spaces are limited. We encourage our students to consider cycling to the college, or taking one of the many buses which pass by.
The Lothian bus numbers 8, 16, 24, 47 and 47X all serve Edinburgh’s Telford College – from the city centre and beyond.
