It can be very daunting, leaving home and moving to another country – where are you to live? Where is the best place to look etc. Help is at hand with the Student Accommodation Services part of Student Services, the accommodation team gives advise to students and information on available accommodation and accommodation issues you may encounter as a student.
The College can offer two main types of accommodation to our international students – lodgings and residential student accommodation.
Lodgings
This means you can rent a room in someone’s home or flat and this is a very popular option for many international students. The College can help you find a room with a local family or person that has been vetted by our Accommodation Officer.
The following are recommended prices for lodgings that include all bills (electricity, gas etc) but not necessarily phone bills:
Self-catering (no meals) |
from £80 per week |
Bed and breakfast |

Bed, breakfast and evening meal |
