An example of the successful work our outreach and community teams do, can be seen in our community gardens project.
The College also produced 21 learners, from childcare and social care courses, who were recognised for achievement in a Celebration of Learning event.
These courses were designed for learners who have young children and focused on helping them explore routes in childcare and social care.
The courses were provided in Wallyford and Whitecraig Community Centres, as well as the Fisherrow Centre.
East Lothian Council's Education and Children's Wellbeing Spokesperson Councillor Shamin Akhtar said "These learning programmes are an excellent example of how partnerships between East Lothian Council, further education and the third sector can create and deliver community-based learning opportunities that help east Lothian residents have the skills, confidence and capacity to make positive changes in their lives and communities."
