The professional in house catering team provides catering for students who stay at on-site accommodation at our Milton Road campus. The package includes five evening meals per week and breakfast for seven days per week. Unfortunately catering is not available during weekends or out of term time.
Evening service will be served between 4pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday and will exclude the following dates, in the food court, located in the Club Building.

The breakfast menus will take the form of a shopping list that the students will have access to at the start of each week. All orders will need to be in to the Catering Department on a Thursday and the students will be able to pick up the items on a Monday at dinner time. The breakfast options will provide all students with a breakfast option Monday to Sunday consisting of five continental breakfast and two hot breakfast vouchers which are redeemable at any campus Monday to Friday. We have attached the example sheet.
With the menus changing from week to week the team will need you to fill in a pre-order form, the menus will be sent out one month in advanced, giving you plenty of time to pre-order. Below is an example of some of the choices you might see:

With your evening meal there will also be fresh fruit and diluting juice available. Other items such as sweets, hot drinks and snacks can also be paid for.
A form will be provided to get information on dietary requirements and food allergies so we can prepare meals to suit your needs.
The weekly meal costs are £40.00 and includes the breakfast and evening meal options. This is available over 36 teaching weeks.
We have put together a number of different options for making payments for catering and you will need to decide which best suits you’re budgeting. Payment can be made by direct debit (please complete and email to firstname.lastname@example.org
), cash (payable directly to the Catering Coordinator) or cheque (made payable to Edinburgh College Catering).
Full Year Payment
This is the most economical option to take. The cost for the full year is £1100.00, which means you are saving of £292.00 over the year, compared with monthly payments.
You can also split the payments for your catering into three block bookings. This option will save you £164.00.
