You may not feel ready to make the move to university, whether you’re coming straight from school or if you’ve been out of education for a while. Studying at college can be a great way of building your expertise and knowledge, making it an ideal way to progress to university.
At college you will work in smaller classes with more contact tutorial time, as well as benefiting from your own Learning Development Tutor who will give you guidance and support during your time at college. This support will help prepare you for university and ensure that your transition to university is seamless.
The two years spent at college will provide you with hands-on practical experience. Combine this with the theory skills and knowledge at university and you will be highly employable and ready for the workplace on completion of your degree.
As an Associate Student you will begin year 1 and 2 of your studies with HNC/HND level courses delivered at Edinburgh College. On successful completion of your HND you will progress to years 3 and 4 of study at one of our partner universities to complete your degree.
